Literature Text

Why does the lone wolf call out to the moon? His sorrowful voice carries through the dark forest. Frost collects on his course black fur, yet he persists. She is everything to him; he will never surrender to the darkness that claws at his heart. His crystal blue eyes gaze upon her tranquil beauty and splendor. Little does he know that she answers every cry, only to be drowned out by the nothingness between them…

Once more the mighty howl echoes throughout the snow covered hills, and once more was it to be answered by the sting of silence's icy blade. The moon knows daybreak is nearly upon them and begins to quietly weep. A tender whisper in her ear slows her silver tears. The wind! Softly, she sings the nameless song of the night; her gentle voice is carried to the earth below. The harmonies danced on each gust, drifting to the troubled beast, soothing him…

If one were to hear the lone wolf's cry now, sorrow they will not find, and listen close for the wind will have the moon's reply.
Neat little thing I wrote about two lovers unable to be with one another due to distance, and how the still found a way to express their love to the other
